2010 NFL Free Agents-Chris Baker
TE Chris Baker, Seattle Seahawks
How Baker will help the Seahawks: Baker enjoyed his best season in 2007 when he had 41 receptions, 409 receiving yards, and three scores for the New York Jets. Last season, Baker got lost in the New England Patriots’ high potent offense. Baker may not rack up a huge stats for Seattle either, but he is a serviceable red zone option.
Fantasy Outlook: Baker will be the backup to John Carlson in 2010. Consequently, he does not belong on your fantasy radar to begin the year, but if he can show the Seahawks his potential, he could be a respectable injury replacement from week to week.
2010 NFL Free Agents-Jake Delhomme
QB Jake Delhomme, Cleveland Browns
How Delhomme will help the Browns: Delhomme will have to battle Brady Quinn for the starting job. Whether he wins the job or not to begin the 2010 campaign, the job figures to be his before the season ends. Last season, Delhomme had by far his worst season of his NFL career, but he still can boast that he has had four seasons of at least 3,000 passing yards and has thrown for at least 15 touchdowns five times.
Fantasy Outlook: If Delhomme can remember which team to pass the ball to in 2010, he should see plenty of action. Look for him to throw for 2,750 passing yards and 12 touchdowns. He certainly should not be viewed as a No.1 fantasy quarterback until he proves otherwise.
2010 NFL Free Agents-Larry Johnson
RB Larry Johnson, Washington Redskins
How Johnson will help the Redskins: Clinton Portis seems to be banged up after every game, and his backup Ladell Betts tore his ACL in 2009. Therefore, Washington was forced to add some depth at the position. Even though Johnson really hasn’t had a productive year since the 2006 campaign, he is still more than a capable NFL running back.
Fantasy Outlook: Johnson has not had a 200 carry season since 2006, and that streak figures to continue in 2010. Look for Johnson to rush for about 475 yards and four touchdowns.

2010 NFL Free Agents-Thomas Jones
RB Thomas Jones, Kansas City Chiefs
How Jones will help the Chiefs: Jones has rushed for more than 1,000 yards in each of the last five seasons. Over the last two seasons, Jones has averaged 1,357 rushing yards and just under 15 total touchdowns. If you throw out the 2009 campaign, Jones has had at least 20 receptions in every season of his career.
Fantasy Outlook: Jones parted ways with the New York Jets as they were making the move to go with a younger running back in Shonn Greene. Now Jones will once again find himself battling for playing time with another youngster in Jamaal Charles. Look for Jones to flirt with the 1,000 yards and double digit scores in 2010.
