2008 Fantasy Football Player Profile-Brett Favre
- 2 Comment
QB Brett Favre, New York Jets
2007 Stats: 4155 passing yards, 28 total TDs, 15 INTs
Projected 2008 Stats: 3765 passing yards, 23 total TDs, 17 INTs
Projected Fantasy Round: 5th Round
Quarterbacks to be picked ahead of Brett Favre: Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Tony Romo, etc.
Fantasy Outlook:
Why you should draft Brett Favre: Last season, Favre threw for 4155 passing yards and 28 touchdowns. He also had seven games where he eclipsed 300 passing yards, and he had 11 contests where he passed for multiple scores. In addition, he can be cemented in for 16 games.
Why you may want to stay away from drafting Brett Favre: Favre will have to learn a new system in the NFL and get acclimated to a different group of receivers. This could turn out to be a Herculean task for a guy that is flirting with being 40 years old. Furthermore, over the last five seasons, he has averaged 20 interceptions.
Bottom Line: Favre is still one of the better passers in the NFL, and he should be viewed as a legitimate No.1 fantasy quarterback.

i have played with defensive players for the last four years and let me tell you name players can be deceiving. Merriman is not a top 15 nor 20 Linebacker as far as Fantasy goes and he’s very inconsistant with tackels. also, Ronnie Brown said himself that his mind is not quite up to par as far as his leg goes. Be careful there. other than that your team looks pretty good.
