Why you may want to draft Derek Anderson: Last season, Anderson had three games where he surpassed 300 passing yards, and he had ten games where he threw for multiple scores.  He also had four contests where he didn’t throw a single interception.

Why you may want to stay away from drafting Derek Anderson: In 2007, Anderson had four games where he had more than one pass picked off.  In addition, he had five contests where he was held under 200 passing yards. 

Bottom Line:  Anderson has only played two seasons in the NFL, but the 2007 campaign was such a breakout year for him that expectations are going to be high for fantasy owners.  Anderson is still a young signal caller adjusting to the speed of the NFL, but he should be viewed as No.1 fantasy quarterback, teetering on being amongst the upper echelon.
