2008 Fantasy Football Player Profile-Greg Jennings

WR Greg Jennings, Green Bay Packers

2007 Stats: 53 receptions, 920 receiving yards, 12 TDs
Projected 2008 Stats: 74 receptions, 1001 receiving yards, 12 TDs
Projected Fantasy Round: 4th Round
Wide Receivers to be picked ahead of Greg Jennings: Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, Reggie Wayne, etc.

Fantasy Outlook:

Why you should draft Greg Jennings: Last season, there were only three games that Jennings played in where he failed to haul in a touchdown.  Jennings averaged over 17 yards per reception, and he had at least 60 receiving yards in nine games.

Why you may want to stay away from drafting Greg Jennings: Jennings will no longer benefit from having Brett Favre as his quarterback, which could mean a dip in his production.  In 2007, Jennings only hit the triple figures in receiving yards in two games, and he has already missed five games in his two year career.

Bottom Line: Jennings has a nose for the end zone, which automatically adds value in fantasy football.  Jennings should be viewed as a solid No.1 wide receiver, but without an established quarterback to get him the ball, he is a moderate risk as a third or fourth round pick.
