Why you should draft Jay Cutler: Last season, Cutler had nine games where he threw for at least 230 yards, including twice over 300 yards.  In addition, he passed for multiple touchdowns in five contests, and he had six games where he didn’t throw a single interception. 

Why you may want to stay away from drafting Jay Cutler: In 2007, Cutler had four games where he threw multiple interceptions, and he had four contests where he failed to throw a touchdown pass. Cutler has been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, which could present some stamina issues.

Bottom Line: Cutler will play through the diabetes, and he should have a solid 2008 campaign.  Therefore, he should be viewed as a solid No.2, teetering on lower tier No. 1 quarterback, in fantasy.
