Fantasy Outlook:
Why you should draft Tom Brady: From 2006 to 2007, Brady’s numbers improved by 1277 total passing yards, 80 yards per game, and an eye-popping 28 total touchdowns. Last season, Brady impressively had 14 games where he had multiple touchdowns, including 12 with at least three scores. He also had eight games where he eclipsed 300 passing yards.
Why you may want to stay away from drafting Tom Brady: The only reason that you may opt to pass on drafting Brady is if you subscribe to the theory that you need to grab a running back in the first round. Also, it is a little unrealistic to expect Brady to be able to duplicate the kind of numbers he racked up in 2007.
Bottom Line: With Wes Welker and Randy Moss at his disposal, the game of football is just too easy for Brady. Consequently, Brady is the obvious choice as being the premier fantasy quarterback, and he can be penciled in for playing 16 games every season.
