How DeShaun Foster will help the San Francisco 49ers: Foster will serve as the backup for Frank Gore, and he should see a fair amount of carries in 2008.
Over the last three years, Foster has had over 200 carries and more than 870 rushing yards in every season. Foster has never quite lived up to potential, but now that he is coming off the bench, he could end up being more productive in that role.
Fantasy Outlook: Look for Foster to get over 100 carries and about 400 rushing yards. He should dent the scoreboard once or twice also.
