2008 NFL Free Agents-Jerry Porter

WR Jerry Porter, Jacksonville Jaguars

How Jerry Porter will help the Jacksonville Jaguars: Porter will be the No.1 wideout for the Jaguars in 2008. If you throw out Porter’s miserable 2006 season, he has averaged 61 receptions, 881 receiving yards, and nearly seven touchdowns per year since 2004.

Last season, Porter ended the year scoring a touchdown in three of his final five games.  In other words, he was able to put up respectable numbers for the Raiders, despite them lacking stability at the quarterback position.

Fantasy Outlook: Look for Porter in 2008 to surpass the 1000-yard mark in receiving and come close to hauling in double digit touchdowns.
