Fantasy Outlook:

Why should you draft Tom Brady: Last season, Brady suffered a season ending injury during the first game of the year.  Over the last four years prior to 2008, Brady averaged 4034 passing yards and 32 passing touchdowns versus only 12 interceptions.  Additionally, if you discount his 2008 campaign, Brady had thrown for at least 3500 yards in every season since 2002.

Why you may want to stay away from drafting Tom Brady:  Brady is coming off a torn ACL, which means he may not be back to full strength until the 2010 season.  In addition, if you want Brady on your squad, it will likely cost you a pick in one of the first two rounds.  In other words, a fantasy owner can select Brady, but they will have to pass up on a lot of the premier fantasy running backs in order to do so.

Bottom Line: Before getting injured last season, Brady was as durable and productive as they come at quarterback. Consequently, Brady should be viewed as a high risk, high reward fantasy quarterback that will probably be taken in the second round of most drafts.
