WR David Patten, Cleveland Browns
How Patten will help the Browns: Patten returns to the Browns after having a short stint with Cleveland in 2000 where he snagged 38 passes for a humble 546 receiving yards. This time around, Patten is an insurance policy for the Browns since Donte’ Stallworth is facing some legal issues.
Patten is a bit injury prone, but he can put up some respectable numbers when he is in the lineup. In fact, the four most recent years that he has played a full 16 game season (2001, 2002, 2004, and 2007), Patten has averaged 791 receiving yards and nearly five touchdowns.
Fantasy Outlook: In 2009, Patten can be counted on to play in ten games and put up 550 receiving yards and three scores.
