2009 NFL Free Agents-LaMont Jordan

RB LaMont Jordan, Denver Broncos
How LaMont Jordan will help the Broncos: Jordan was injured for much of last season. However, he ended the 2008 campaign by rushing for 239 yards and four touchdowns in the final three games. In 2005, Jordan showed his potential by registering 1588 all-purpose yards and 11 total touchdowns.
The Broncos snagged Jordan and two other running backs in the off-season (J.J. Arrington and Correll Buckhalter) so it is unclear how they will manage their backfield. In other words, Jordan will have to split carries and may see very limited action.
Fantasy Outlook: Bottom line, Jordan can rack up stats when he is in the lineup, but he has not shown lately that he can be counted on to be able to stay on the field. Look for Jordan this season to rush for 440 yards and three scores in a running back-by-committee system.
