2009 NFL Team Needs-Cincinnati Bengals
Defensive End: The pass rush was nowhere to be found for Cincinnati last year. Look for them to acquire an athletic rush end that can put pressure on opposing quarterbacks.
Offensive Tackle: The Bengals must find a way to keep Carson Palmer upright this season. Consequently, they figure to snag an offensive tackle early in the draft.
Wide Receiver: This off-season, the Bengals lost T.J. Houshmandzadeh, but gained Laveranues Coles. However, Coles isn’t exactly in his prime anymore. Not to mention, it is still possible that Cincy could try to trade Chad Ocho Cinco.
Center: One of the most glaring needs for the Bengals the past few seasons has been at center. They could afford to bring in some young talent at the position.
Defensive Tackle: Cincinnati has never been mistaken for a run-stopping defense. However, it wouldn’t hurt for them to add some big bodies to provide some much-needed push up the middle.
Draft Candidates: DE Brian Orakpo, Texas, DE Everette Brown, Florida State, OT Phil Loadholt, Oklahoma, OT Jamon Meredith, South Carolina, WR Brian Robiskie, Ohio State, WR Jarrett Dillard, Rive, C Max Unger, Oregon, C Jon Cooper, Oklahoma, DT Terrance Taylor, Michigan, DT Adrian Grady, Louisville
