2009 NFL Team Needs-Houston Texans
Defensive End: If the Texans can find a legitimate rush end, they can then afford the luxury of moving Mario Williams all around the line to confuse opposing defenses.
Safety: The Texans could benefit from finding a tough, hard nosed safety that can enforce fear when players cross the middle of the field. Look for them to address their need at safety in the first day of the draft.
Running back: Steve Slaton is a fantasy stud at running back, but they need a big bruising back to provide the thunder to his lightening.
Defensive Tackle: Houston has had issues staying healthy at this position. Therefore, they need to add some young depth at the D-tackle spot.
Outside Linebacker: Speaking of needing to add depth, the Texans clearly need to do so at outside linebacker as well. However, they can afford to wait until day two of the draft.
Draft Candidates: DE Aaron Maybin, Penn State, DE Tyson Jackson, LSU, S Patrick Chung, Oregon, S Rashad Johnson, Alabama, RB Ian Johnson, Boise State, RB Chris Ogbonnaya, Texas, DT Mitch King, Iowa, DT Dorell Scott, Clemson, LB Phillip Hunt, Houston, LB Anthony Heygood, Purdue
