2009 NFL Team Needs-Indianapolis Colts
Defensive Tackle: Indianapolis needs a physical and athletic tackle that can help their run defense become respectable. Of course, it would be to their benefit to find a well rounded tackle that can also provide a push on passing downs.
Wide Receiver: There are several questions surrounding Marvin Harrison both on and off the field. It appears to be time to find his eventual successor.
Cornerback: Last year, it was clear that the Colts lacked depth at corner. Look for them to solve that problem this year via the draft.
Linebacker: Indianapolis must improve their defense in this upcoming draft. Don’t be shocked if they were to draft both an inside backer and an outside backer.
Punter: Most fans don’t want their favorite team to draft a punter, but this is so glaring of a need, that the Colts just might have to do so.
Draft Candidates: DT Peria Jerry, Ole Miss, DT Evander Hood, Missouri, WR Derrick Williams, Penn State, WR Brian Robiskie, Ohio State, CB Bradley Fletcher, Iowa, CB DeAngelo Smith, Cincinnati, LB Cody Glenn, Nebraska, LB Worrell Williams, California, P Thomas Morstead, SMU, P Kevin Huber, Cincinnati
