2010 Fantasy Football Player Profile-Andre Johnson

WR Andre Johnson, Houston Texans

2009 Stats: 101 receptions, 1,569 receiving yards, 9 TDs
Projected 2010 Stats: 105 receptions, 1,655 receiving yards, 14 TDs
Projected Fantasy Round: 2nd Round
Wide Receivers to be picked ahead of Andre Johnson: None.

Fantasy Outlook:

Why you should draft Andre Johnson: Over the last two seasons, Johnson has averaged 108 receptions, 1,572 receiving yards, and eight scores.  Last season, Johnson had three games where he had at least ten catches, and he eclipsed the century mark in receiving yards in six contests.

Why you may want to stay away from drafting Andre Johnson: The only reason you might forgo a chance to draft Johnson is if you wanted to get a another star running back with your second overall pick, rather than drafting a receiver that early in the draft.

Bottom Line:  Johnson is emerging as perhaps the premier fantasy wide receiver, and he is a nice value pick in the second round.  In points per reception leagues, he might not make it out of the first round.

I was just reading the article written by Arnie Stapleton and AP sports writer who has the roster for the teams at his finger tips and saw that he completely misspelled Terrance Copper’s name and called him Cooper. No one else seems to have noticed.
