28 is a little low for the Raiders. I know we’ve been poor the last few seasons but we have a lot more talent and potential than a lot of teams you put ahead of us.

Thank you for the comment “The Analyzer.” I actually looked at the Oakland Raiders and Baltimore Ravens as teams that as the season progresses could far exceed my ranking. However, I do want both teams to show me on the field that they are better than that ranking first, and I will give them their credit due and bump them up the rankings. I am just not sold on the Raiders defense. What do you think of their defense?

Doc — I’m curious about my Bears at #19 — even without offense, they are the best team in the division, and should be 6-2 against the North. Their schedule seems soft, and they shouldn’t have a problem winning 3 or 4 more games to get in the playoffs.
Patriots at #16? I’m thinking that was just to get responses… it worked.

I agree with you that the Bears have a soft schedule, and because of that they might end up with a much higher ranking. I know you won’t like this projection, but I have predicted the Vikings to win the division this season. However, I think the Bears will be good again, and they could very easily win the division.
As far as the Patriots, I think they have lost too many quality coaches and players not to be on a decline. I think the Dolphins will win that division.
Thank you for the comment,
