Great Work on a full 7-rounder!
but you have Stew Bradley going twice.
51. New York Giants- LB Stewart Bradley, Nebraska
98. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- LB Stewart Bradley, Nebraska

Bob,
Thank you for bringing that to my attention. Bradley is just that good, he is worth drafting twice! I guess that increases my odds of getting the team he will play for right :).

ABBATE TO THE PATS IN THE 3RD?? RUNNING A 5.0? NOT A CHANCE. WHERE ARE DURANT AND DEOSSIE? TIMMONS AHEAD OF WILLIS??…BY 10 SPOTS?? WEAK EFFORT AND THAT IS JUST THE LB’S …OVERALL A MESS .. WAS THIS POSTED BEFORE THE ALL STAR GAMES AND COMBINE?

Skip,
Thank you for the comment. If the Dolphins do land Troy Smith, they would have some interesting plays they could run with having him and Marcus Vick at their disposal.

Sam,
I appreciate your feedback. This mock was done after the combine and all-star games. Abbate would fit the mold of the Patriots going after big linebackers that possess oustanding fundamentals.
Perhaps, he could be considered a reach in the third round, but I don’t think the Patriots will be too worried about what his 40 time was.
I will be doing at least one more mock draft prior to the NFL Draft, which I will include the compensatory picks. I hope you will check it out and evaluate the mock draft again.

I understand the long difficult process of a 7 rounder but to say the Pats do not care about Abbate’s 40 time is not correct. Not to mention he measured only 5′9″ !! Hardly the “big linebacker” that the Pats covet. Their shortest LB (besides special teams ace Izzo) is Corey Mays @ 6′1” w a 4.83 / 40. and he was a free agent. Abbate is not even fast enough to play special teams. He was a very productive college LB but is a late round guy at best. Upon further review the overall mock was not as bad as I originally thought. I was just thrown off by the Abbate pick

Hey Doc, I appreciate how tough it must be to do a seven round mock but with the Seahawks you were off quite a bit. First, we will not draft a center since we have a first-rounder in Spencer there. We will not draft a safety as we have picked up Deon Grant and Brian Russell. Defensive end needs are met with Kerney and a second-rounder from last year in Daryl Tapp. The guard, tight ends and defensive tackle are our weaknesses now. But thanks it was good overall

come on now. nobody picks 2 qb’s in one draft and the pack go for 2? no way. good draft tho. i really would like Eric Weddle in a packers jersey tho

I appreciate the work you did on this mock draft, but there is no way that the Lions are going to take Quinn, and even if they do according to you they wouldn’t take OL in the second round. Marinelli is running this draft, so he is going to take a DE or CB or LB with his second pick if he was even considering Quinn, which he is not. He is going to trade down or take Calvin Johnson. He won’t let Johnson pass, he will take him and try and trade him later. Its Gains Adams or Johnson and a outside chance of Thompson and Russell if Oakland takes Johnson First.

love this draft for the Browns
Good work

108. Green Bay Packers- QB Jared Zabransky, Boise State
178. Green Bay Packers- QB Jeff Rowe, Nevada
well i think you better recheck this because there is no way green bay is going to be drafting two quarterbacks this year.
