DR U Fantasy Football Team #3
I just completed a 16-man fantasy football draft. We had to draft two QBs, one kicker, and one defense, and we start one QB, five RBs and/or WRs, one kicker, and a defense. I picked eleventh and welcome your thoughts on how I did in the draft. Here is my team
QB Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints
QB Chris Simms, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
RB Steven Jackson, St. Louis Rams
RB Kevin Jones, Detroit Lions
RB Cedric Benson, Chicago Bears
RB Ciatrick Fason, Minnesota Vikings
RB Wali Lundy, Houston Texans
WR Terrell Owens, Dallas Cowboys
WR Roy Williams, Detroit Lions
WR Antonio Bryant, San Francisco 49ers
WR Mark Clayton, Baltimore Ravens
K Shayne Graham, Cincinnati Bengals
Defense Indianapolis Colts

Nick,
Your quarterbacks are a little risky. Bledsoe has the weapons and the throwing ability to have a great season, but the question is will his offensive line keep him upright and will Tony Romo take his spot if he struggles? Pennington is the Mark Prior of the NFL, and he seems to be out of the lineup more than he is in the lineup.
If T.O. can get healthy and get onto the playing field, I think that will open up a lot more room for Julius Jones. Carnell williams should be a fantasy stud this year. If Mike Bell remains the starter in Denver, then I think he will make some noise in fantasy as well. Lawrence Maroney should eventually be the starter in New England, and if it becomes this season, which I think is highly possible, then he should rack up some solid numbers as well.
The strength of your team is at wide receiver. I think Chambers will have a great season, and we all know what Steve Smith is capable of.
I think if you could improve your team it would be to get a more reliable quarterback in place of Pennington. Overall, your team looks pretty good. I would rate your team a B.
Good Luck!

Look to see if you could replace Pennington with someone like McNair or Simms, who are both highly undervalued on some wedsites’ depth charts

Marco,
Great suggestion! I have Simms valued really high, and McNair is a very reliable quarterback when he is healthy.
Thank you for the comment.
