First of all where is your first round pick? You may need to do some work before your team will be competitive. Branch has no value right now but will be on a good team in Seattle. If someone is willing to buy let him go otherwise his value is very low right now. You might as well keep him and hope he becomes a big part of Seattle’s game plan.

    Help Me!
I am so disappointed in my league this week. I played Hasselbeck, shaun alexander, tory holt, randy moss, jay feely, dallas defense, mcgahee, and cooley.
I am thinking about playing mcnabb for this coming week. What do you think about him against the giants. I also have culpepper as a quarter back. I wish i had played mcnabb, i lost of course this week. I was sure i was gonna get more points. I also have jags defense, so i am a little torn of which defense to play. Any suggestions on my QB’S AND DEEFENSE this week? Please, I play my husbadn this week in the fantasy league and i want to destroy him

    Dave,

I think you should hold onto Branch. I think he will do well in Seattle. It would be a gamble to start him in Week 2, but you should be able to expect him to produce in Week 3.

    Tasha,

Starting the right player is the tricky part of fantasy football. Keep an eye on my Rising Star/Falling Star reports that I put out in the middle of the week. I did list McNabb as a player that would have a big week.

I would suggest starting McNabb in Week 2. The Giants have a good defense, but McNabb plays well at home. The Bills did a respectable job defending Brady, and Culpepper did not look sharp in Week 1. Good Luck!

    Week 2 starters.

I have most of my teams starters for week two. But after Ahman Green’s performance against a great Chicago defense im a little torn on my RB situation.

Which two backs would you start:
    Cadillac
    Ahman Green
    Julious Jones

    Pick one TE:
    Randy McMicheal
    Vernon Davis

Dr U, Here are my recievers.
    Steve Smith
    Randell El
    Marvin Harrison
    Amani Toomer

I am thinking about droping Toomer and picking up Maurice Colston. Would that be a good trade? Our league starts 3 recievers each week.

    Hey Doc,
Between Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville, which team should i play for my defense? Also Randy Moss is on my roster, but after Monday night, i am not sure i want to play him. I also have matt jones, drew bennet, and reggie brown, would one of them be a better choice to start?

    Nick,

I think you should start Carnell Williams for sure. Julius Jones and Ahman Green are a coin flip. I think Jones is the safer pick, but then again I did not think that Green would be able to rack up triple digit yardage against the Bears defense. Go with your instinct. If you need a push, or someone to thank or blame, I would suggest starting Jones.

You have two good tight ends. I would give the slight nod to Vernon Davis. Good Luck!

    Dirk,

I would say good ahead and do the move and pick up Colston. It still remains to be seen how good he will play the rest of the season, but I would start him over Toomer or Randle El. Good Luck!

    Elizabeth,

It is very had to bench a player like Randy Moss, because he can score a touchdown anytime he touches the ball. However, if there is ever a time to bench Moss, this would figure to be the week to do it as he plays against a stingy Ravens defense. Out of your other receivers, I think Brown would be the best player to start. Good Luck!

Steve Smith might not play again and my third receiver is Branch which probably won’t play till week three. There are four guys available in my league. Who would be the best pick up for week two?

    Jenkins (ATL)
    Colston (NOR)
    Cotchery (NYJ)
    Wilcox (BAL)

None are real great but I need the best possible for week two.

Our 12 team league QB points (YDs passing, TDs & minus for ITs). I have Warner + Simms. Should I drop Simms for another QB.

Who would your choice be: Simms, Favre, Kitna or Bruenell?

I like Favre or Kitna. I like Favres schedule, he had avoided injuries, and is good for one TD each week, however his ITs do hurt. Kitna in a new system could have good second half — though Lions play Chicago the week of our championship game. Your thoughts?

    Pub,

I think you are fine at QB. Simms played a very good defense in Week 1. I think he is going to rebound and have a solid season. If you want to give up hope on Simms, I think Kitna is the next best.

Favre diserves some consideration as well, but I think Kitna playing under Mike Martz’s system will produce more than Favre as Favre has very little help.

My suggestion would be to ride the ship with Simms, but start Warner for the time being. Good Luck!
