    Dr. U,
I need some seriously help this week. I have some real questions at QB. I have Ben Roethlisberger, Rex Grossman, Bruce Gradkowski, and Joey Harrington. I have to start 2. From the way the first 2 have been playing lately my gut feeling says to start the latter 2 but as soon as I do that it will blow up in my face. Do I have confidence and stick with my starters or replace both of them?

1 more question Dr. U. I’m starting M. Jones-Drew and Thomas Jones possibly this week. Would you suggest Sammy Morris at home against a stingy Jacksonville defense if Thomas Jones is unable to start or should I go with Jones counterpart Benson?

    Rick,

It all depends on if you want to go on potential or matchups. Based on matchups, I would suggest starting Roethlisberger and Gradkowski.

Grossman has played poor as of late and has a bad matchup. Harrington also has a bad matchup against a stingy Jacksonville defense.

I would rank Thomas Jones (as of now, appears to be able to start) ahead of Morris and Jones-Drew. Jones-Drew would be ranked slightly ahead of Morris.

    Good Luck!

    Suzie,

I think Glenn is a must-start at wide receiver. Devery Henderson and Chris Henry are a coin flip this week. So you should go with your instinct on that one.

There is a good change Henderson’s stats will drop slightly with Colston possibly returning, but Brees will still get him the ball. Henry has a great matchup, and I would give a slight edge to Henry.

I would suggest going with the Broncos defense.

    Good Luck!

Do you think i should take a chance on Jay Cutler or give Eli Manning one more shot?

    Dr. U,
I’m having questions about my WR corps since they aren’t the best I need to start 4 and here are my options.

    Andre Johnson
    Devery Henderson
    Marty Booker
    Wes Welker
    Joe Horn
    Muhsin Muhammad

I have the 1st 3 starting but am debating on who to put in the 4 spot. What do you think?
    Thanks as always,
    Rick

    Jason,

Cutler can throw the deep ball well, so he will get the occasional long touchdown. However, at this stage of his career, I think Eli Manning would be the safer fantasy option.

Just be prepared, Manning is playing against a tough Dallas defense, Manning might not put up stellar numbers again this week either.

My thought is that Denver will run the ball even more than usual to help take the pressure off of Cutler. Therefore, I would not jump ship on Manning just yet, at least not for Cutler.

That being said, in a keeper league, I would rather have the rights to Cutler than Eli Manning.

    Good Luck!

    Rick,

Since Joe Horn is still a little banged up, I would go with Muhammad as your fourth receiver.

    Good Luck!
