If Travis Henry is 100% by Monday would you still bench him?

Heck no. Even if he is 80% I would put him in unless there is a release that Selvin Young will be starting. This is the guy who played 4 weeks with a hairline fracture in his lower leg in 2003. He’s a tough tough man. I doubt broken ribs will slow him down, though he’ll probably have to wear a flack jacket.

    Ham,

The Bench em section just signifies that the player has a tough matchup, so he may not be able to rack up the stats that he normally would. However, that does not mean you have to bench him, and if he is your best option at running back, then feel free to start him. Just because the matchup is not a favorable one, does not mean he still cannot put up good numbers.

You just have to do what you feel is best. I had the guts to bench Frank Gore in Week 3 when he was playing the Steelers, because I did not like the matchup. Gore was held to 49 yards and 0 TDs, so that paid off. Last week, I did not like the matchup that Addai had against had against Jacksonville, but I opted to roll the dice with him, and he did just fine.

    Good Luck!

    Brees or Rivers this week?

Also I have the Bears and Texans as DST. I’m worried about the low points so far from the Bears and Texans seem to be decreasing in value. There are not many teams available on the Wavier Wire. I was thinking about picking up the Broncos because of the good matchups in the future. other options are the Cardinals, Raiders, Bills, to name a few. What do you think Dr. U?

    Thanks,

    Kev

    Dr. U,
What QB for this week: Favre or C. Palmer?

I’ve read everything and all signs are pointing to start Favre on Monday night. But I got a feeling that Palmer will have a big game against the Steelers b/c he will be forced to through with K. Watson being shut down. I am out of 1st by 50 points and I just need one big week. So should I take the chance and start palmer?

    Thanks

Last week made 4 in a row! Lets keep this thing rolling! My only question is in my WR corp. I am not sure about Vincent Jackson/Andre Davis/Lee Evans? VJack hasnt played a game yet with Chambers so I am not sure about how it will affect production. Davis has been great so far but was quite until the end in the last game but he is going against the SD defense. Lee Evans finally showed up and am hesitant about a let down. Thanks again for the help. I am going against the #1 team in our league this week!

    Manning, Peyton QB IND @CAR
    Jacobs, Brandon RB NYG @MIA

    Jackson, Vincent WR SD HOU
    Olsen, Greg TE CHI DET
Active Kicker FGA FG FGLg XPAtt XP XPB Status

not sure between Chambers or Stokley as 3rd WR. have Plax and Holt already starting. Berrian could also be a 3rd option.

I AM IN A 16 TEAM SCORING LEAGUE ONLY, MY STARTING RUNNING BACKS ARE E. JAMES AND J. ADDAI, WITH EDGE ON A BYE, MY BACKUPS ARE M. TURNER FROM SAN DIEGO, S. YOUNG FROM DENVER, AND K. KEITH FROM INDY, WHOM DO YOU THINK I SHOULD START ALONGSIDE ADDAI?

    Kevin,

I think Rivers has the better matchup, I would suggest Rivers over Brees this week. I think I would hold onto the Bears defense, especially if you get the points when Hester runs a punt back for a touchdown.

    Good Luck!

    Iain,

I like the matchup of Lee Evans against a weak Jets defense. I would suggest starting Evans. I think with Evans, Marshawn Lynch, Brandon Jacobs, and Peyton Manning in your lineup, you have a good chance to win five in a row!

    Good Luck!

Dr U I hope you are correct since I have all of them on my team. I need a good defense. I have two on my roster Philadelphia and Minnesota. They are playing each other on week 8 and I do not know which one to start.
