Why you should draft Vernon Davis: Over the last two seasons, Davis has played in all 16 games. Last season, Davis had nine games with at least five receptions, and twice he was able to surpass 100 receiving yards in a game. Davis also had a touchdown in six of his final seven games, while finishing the year with an eye-popping 13 scores.
Why you may want to stay away from drafting Vernon Davis: Prior to last season, Davis had never had more than 52 receptions in a single season, and four touchdowns was the most he ever amassed in a single year before 2009. Last season, Davis was held under 50 receiving yards on nine different occasions.
Bottom Line: Davis emerged last year as a standout fantasy tight end. It remains to be seen if he is just a one-year wonder, but he could also be just starting to blossom into having a great career. In other words, Davis is difficult to gage, but he clearly has earned the right to begin the year as a legitimate No.1 fantasy tight end, and he would be a nice value in the middle rounds.

Running backs to be picked ahead of LeSean McCoy: Chris Johnson, Adrian Peterson, Maurice Jones-Drew, etc.
Fantasy Outlook:
Why you should draft LeSean McCoy: McCoy is now the man in Philadelphia with the Eagles electing not to bring back Brian Westbrook. Even though McCoy failed to rush for 100 yards in any game in 2009, he still was able to rush for more than 70 yards in four contests.
Why you may want to stay away from drafting LeSean McCoy: McCoy had a very up and down rookie year. It has yet to be determined if he can handle carrying the load for the Eagles. Last season, he was limited to under 30 rushing yards in eight games, and he was held scoreless in another 12 games.
Bottom Line: McCoy should be viewed as a No.2 fantasy running back until he proves otherwise. With that being said, he is a nice value if you can snag him in the third round or beyond.

Wide Receivers to be picked ahead of Brandon Marshall: Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Randy Moss, etc.
Fantasy Outlook:
Why you should draft Brandon Marshall: Over the last three seasons, Marshall has averaged 102 receptions, 1,236 receiving yards, and over seven scores per season. In 2009, Marshall had 10 games with at least five receptions, and he had three games where he had multiple touchdowns. He is capable of being a top fantasy player any give week, which he proved in Week 14 when he torched the Colts for 21 receptions, 200 receiving yards, and two touchdowns.
Why you might want to stay away from drafting Brandon Marshall: In his four year career, he has only played in all 16 games once. His talent cannot be questioned, but he does seem to have some character issues at times.
Bottom Line: Marshall is clearly an upper echelon fantasy reception, especially in PPR leagues. He would be a steal in the fourth round or beyond.

Fantasy Outlook:
Why you should draft Sam Bradford: Bradford should be given the starting job right away in St. Louis, which would mean he would likely be the quarterback for the Rams all season. With recent success that rookie quarterbacks have had in the NFL, Bradford had just as good a chance to succeed as any of the other rookies before him.
Why you may want to stay away from drafting Sam Bradford: Although, Bradford will be given a chance right away, he lacks major weapons in the offense to take the pressure off of him. In addition, rookie quarterbacks often throw more picks than they do touchdowns.
Bottom Line: Bradford should only merit fantasy consideration in real deep leagues or keeper leagues until he proves otherwise.

Why you might want to stay away from drafting Mike Sims-Walker: Sims-Walker could turn out to be a one year wonder as his rookie year was nowhere near as successful as last season. In 2009, he had seven games where he had three receptions of fewer, and he was limited to under 50 receiving yards in eight contests.
Bottom Line: Sims-Walker appears ready for stardom, and he should be viewed as a solid No.3 fantasy receiver, with potential to be a No.2 fantasy wideout.
