Super Bowl Commercials Overrated »
I don’t understand all the hype surrounding the commercials during the Super Bowl. I know it costs advertisers about $6 million just for 30 seconds of air time, but the commercials never seem to be worth anywhere near that amount.
I would take the Pro Bowl commercials over the Super Bowl commercials any day. During the Pro Bowl commercials, I get to hear David Spade say "No" to every customer…see Lebron James sporting an afro…watch some Jeremy guy shed another 50 pounds from walking to and from Subway…and of course witness Shaq endorsing the Icy Hot patch.
So for all of you that huddled around the television just to see what they would show on this year’s Go Daddy.com ad, I hope you weren’t too disappointed. Irregardless, I feel it is my obligation to tell you that if you are seeking some real entertainment, then go buy a sandwich from Subway… using your Capital One card… and wash it down with some Sprite… and don’t forget to put on your Icy Hot patch… this Sunday as you relax while watching the Pro Bowl commercials!
