Roger Staubach will always be remembered as being a leader of the great Dallas Cowboys in the 1970s, but what you might not have known is that before he became an NFL quarterback, he honored his military duties in the Navy.  Staubach was drafted by the Cowboys in 1964, but did not join the Cowboys until he was done serving in the Navy in 1969.
