I don’t think Troy Smith helped his cause. He looked horrible in the game and Dick Vermeil said he was innacurate all week in practice.

The things that I have read about Troy Smith was that he struggled early in the week at the Senior Bowl, but really picked it up as the week progressed. The weather was not great at the Senior Bowl and all of the quarterbacks struggled. However, Smith had some respectable plays in the game.
