How Morris will help the Lions: Morris has been a career backup, and he figures to come off the bench in 2009 for the Lions also.  Morris certainly knows what to do with the football when he is given carries. Over the last three seasons, Morris has averaged 602 rushing yards in mop up duty.  In 2007, Morris had a humble 628 rushing yards and four touchdowns.

Fantasy Outlook: The Lions haven’t had much luck with running backs since Barry Sanders retired.  However, Kevin Smith did show flashes last season.  Look for Morris to put up at least 500 rushing yards and three scores in his time-share with Smith.

How Owens will help the Bills: Last season, Buffalo collapsed offensively down the stretch.  Therefore, they made the move to bring in Owens to ignite their offense.  As long the Bills are willing to throw Owens the ball early and often, they should be able to get a productive year out of him. 

Owens comes with his share of distractions, but when he is out to prove doubters wrong, he typically puts up huge numbers.  Buffalo signed him for one season, which means Owens will be playing for another contract.  That could bode well for both parties.

Fantasy Outlook: T.O. is clearly a solid No.1 fantasy wideout.  In addition, Owens will likely attract double coverage, which could help boost Lee Evans into the upper tier of fantasy receivers as well.   Bottom line, T.O. can be cemented in for quadruple figures in yardage and double digits in touchdowns.
