How Simms will help the Broncos: Last season, Simms served as the No. 3 quarterback for the Tennessee Titans.  This year, he will likely be the backup in Denver, that is unless Jay Cutler decides to leave town.  Simms has not been able to get onto the field that last couple years, which mainly was due to his spleen injury.

However, in 2005 when Simms was given a chance to play, he threw for 2035 and ten touchdowns.  Simms is the son of New York Giants’ legend Phil Simms.  Therefore, he definitely has the pedigree to be a successful quarterback in the NFL.

Fantasy Outlook: Look for Simms to see the field in 2009, but he will likely appear in less than a handful of games.
