Dr. U, due to this post you have lost a lot of credibility. This is one of the dumbest season predictions ever! You’ve got the Ravens above the Bengals. (think QB) Titans below the Texans, think running game and defense. Jacksonville in the Super Bowl, come on now. I could keep going but I think you get the point.

    Adam,

I am not sure how credible anyone’s preseason predictions can be. I don’t think it is feasible to think that all of the predicitons will come to fruition. However, I think it is fun to see how close we come on our preditions.

I have no problem wih you feeling Cincy should be predicted ahead of Baltimore. I am just not high on Cincy’s running game and defense. Not to mention, their possible issues at wideout. Baltimore has their own issues at QB, which is why I have both teams with mediocre records.

    Thank you for the comment.

In defense of of Dr U, predictions are only predictions. How many people picked the Mariners of Indians to win their divisions in MLB this year? What about the Rays; pick them above the BoSox and Yanks?

Predictions are fun to look at and nothing more. Even the best of the best pundits can’t get them right.

Dallas Will NOT make it to the big show. They may end up with their first playoff win of the century, but a superbowl win is Out Of The Question.

    Tom,

Thanks for sticking up for me. I actually only do the predictions, because it adds to some fun discussions. Naturally, the season will play out, and I have no control over how the teams finish.

    Butch,

I can understand why you would have the opinion considering the length of time it has been since Dallas has even won a playoff game. However, out of the question seems a bit extreme. I think many people could have said the same thing for the New York Giants last year.

However, Dallas is picked by nearly everyone to make the playoffs, and as the Giants proved last season, all you have to do is get to the playoffs and get hot to win it all. So again I think out of the question is extreme. We will just have to wait and see what happens, there are plenty of teams that have a good chance to win it all.

    Thank you for the comment.
