Week 13 Fantasy Football Player Projections

QUARTERBACKS RECOMMENDED BY DR U
Mark Brunell, Washington Redskins at St. Louis Rams…Brunell has not thrown a pick in three out of his last four games. This week, Brunell faces a Rams secondary, that over the last three weeks, has allowed opposing quarterbacks to average 274 passing yards and over two passing touchdowns a game. SCRIP - The best medicine for a quarterback is facing a struggling secondary, consider Brunell healed.
Aaron Brooks, New Orleans Saints Vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Over the last two games, Brooks has averaged 262 passing yards and over two passing touchdowns per game. SCRIP - The doc has seen the symptoms before, the Saints will fall behind and Brooks will get the opportunity to pad his stats as they will have to throw the ball.

OTHER QUARTERBACKS RECOMMENDED BY DR U
Kurt Warner- St. Louis Rams at San Francisco 49ers
Peyton Manning- Indianapolis Colts Vs Tennessee Titans
Carson Palmer- Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers

QUARTERBACKS NOT RECOMMENDED BY DR U
Matt Hasselbeck, Seattle Seahawks at Philadelphia Eagles…Over the last three games, Hasselbeck is averaging one interception per game. Meanwhile, in that same stint, the Eagles secondary is only allowing an average of 195 passing yards. SCRIP - The doc is not recommending that Hasselbeck be benched in fantasy necessarily, but just take in account that this week his stats will be flirting with mediocrity.
Drew Bledsoe, Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants… Bledsoe has averaged 179 passing yards and one interception per game, in that last three weeks. Over the last four weeks, the G-Men on defense have yielded only 198 passing yards and under a touchdown pass per game. SCRIP -Bledsoe is having a solid year, but this week in fantasy football, he belongs in the waiting room.

RUNNING BACKS RECOMMENDED BY DR U
Domanick Davis, Houston Texans at Baltimore Ravens…Over the last four weeks, the Ravens defense has given up an average of 253 all-purpose yards, to opposing running backs, per game. With as many touches as Davis gets on the ground, and through the air, he should be able to at least match that total. SCRIP - Domanick is finally starting to shake his injuries and should put up healthy numbers this week.
Thomas Jones, Chicago Bears Vs Green Bay Packers…Over the last two games, Jones is averaging 80 rushing yards per game. The Packers in their last three games, are giving up an average of 82 yards and one touchdown per game. At worst, Jones should be able to mirror those numbers. SCRIP - The doc was unable to find a pulse in this Packers team, and Jones just might help put the final nail in the coffin on their season.

OTHER RUNNING BACKS RECOMMENDED BY DR U
Shaun Alexander- Seattle Seahawks at Philadelphia Eagles
LaDainian Tomlinson- San Diego Chargers Vs Oakland Raiders
Larry Johnson- Kansas City Chiefs Vs Denver Broncos
Clinton Portis- Washington Redskins at St. Louis Rams
Tiki Barber- New York Giants Vs Dallas Cowboys

RUNNINGBACKS NOT RECOMMENDED BY DR U
Rudi Johnson, Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers…Over the last two games, Johnson is averaging 95 yards and two touchdowns per game. The problem is, that is that same time frame, the Steelers are yielding a mere 59 rushing yards and no touchdowns per contest. SCRIP - The doc is not telling you to bench Johnson, but he won’t exactly save an ailing fantasy team this week either.
Rueben Droughns, Cleveland Browns at Jacksonville Jaguars…Over the last two games, Droughns has averaged 120 yards per game. Meanwhile in that same stint, the Jags are allowing only 61 yards per game on the ground. SCRIP - The X Rays are in and there was no consistency in Droughns’ game to be found.

WIDE RECEIVERS RECOMMENDED BY DR U
Chad Johnson, Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers…Over his last two games, Johnson has put up an average of 139 receiving yards and has dented the scoreboard once per game. SCRIP - If you need a doc, he will be out of the office this weekend, tuning in to watch Chad Johnsons’ touchdown celebration.
Anquan Boldin, Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers…Over the last two games, Boldin is averaging 110 yards per game. In that same time frame, the 49ers defense, if I may call it a defense, has given up 178 receiving yards and one touchdown per game to opposing wideouts. SCRIP - Not even an MRI could spot a 49ers pass defense.

OTHER WIDE RECEIVERS RECOMMENDED BY DR U
Marvin Harrison- Indianapolis Colts Vs Tennessee Titans
Joey Galloway- Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints
Reggie Wayne- Indianapolis Colts Vs Tennessee
Torry Holt- St. Louis Rams Vs Washington Redskins
Roy Williams- Detroit Lions Vs Minnesota Vikings
Larry Fitzgerald- Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers
Donte’ Stallworth- New Orleans Saints Vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

WIDE RECEIVERS NOT RECOMMNEDED BY DR U
Steve Smith, Carolina Panthers Vs Atlanta Falcons…Smith has had an MVP-like year. However, he will not be the MVP because of he has had some off-games. In the four off-games, he has averaged a mere 34 yards receiving and no touchdowns per game (Weeks 2, 4, 10, and 12). SCRIP - The doc prescribes that you still start Smith, but just take in account that Atlanta does have the defense that can contain him.
Terry Glenn, Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants…Over the last three games, Glenn has only been averaging 41 receiving yards per game. The Giants, meanwhile, are stingy when it comes to sharing real estate via the air. SCRIP - The doc has spotted the symptoms and it appears Glenn is suffering from being in a huge slump.

POSSIBLE FANTASY FOOTBALL FREE AGENTS -PRESCRIBED BY DR U
RB Mike Alstott, Tampa Bay Buccaneers…Allstott has five touchdowns in his last four games. Grab him if he is available. He may not get many yards, but he sure does get the ball near the goal line.
WR Brandon Stokley, Indianapolis Colts…Stokley was limited to one reception last week. However, when you have Peyton Manning as your quarterback, you are bound to get some catches.
WR Tim Dwight, New England Patriots…Dwight snagged five passes for 76 yards in Week 12. It appears that Brady is gaining more confidence in Dwight. Dwight has the speed to take any play to the house.

Brooks really? I think his hot streak ends this week. He’ll have some kind of brain fart and just end up turning the ball over 3 or 4 times. I think it’s gonna be ugly for him this weekend. I’m definitely with you on the D Davis recommendation. I’ve been waiting all year for this guy to come around and now hopefully when I need him down the stretch he’ll come thru!

Players like Brooks make recommendations tricky. Brooks is so up-and-down. DR U tries not to feature the safe recommendations in the players that have the descriptions given, such as Peyton Manning. DR U assumes that fantasy owners that have Peyton are not looking to see if they should start him. They just start him.
Hopefully, the recommendation of Brooks did not cost you a loss in fantasy. Davis certainly racked up a lot of rushing yards, but could not find the end zone.
